While regular nail polish takes time to air dry and peels off within a few days, gel polish is different! Thanks to the polymers in gel polish, it hardens under the influence of UV light. This isn't the case with regular nail polish. Regular gel polish can't air dry and therefore requires UV light to dry. What do you get in return? Beautiful nails that don't chip and, with the right preparation, last up to two weeks!
